About Loopy Panda

Hi, I’m the maker behind Loopy Panda. I’ve been crocheting for 10 years. I first learned from my mother, and later taught myself to make amigurumi and sweaters from patterns. I especially love crocheting dolls and little animals, but I also make coasters, bags, blankets, and sweaters. By now, I’ve made at least 100 pieces. Pip, the big-eyed little mouse on this website, is a pattern I designed myself.
How these tutorials are made
Every stitch and every step on Loopy Panda is crocheted by me and filmed at home on my phone. The photos and videos you see in the tutorials show my hands, my crochet hook, and my yarn. The Chinese narration in the videos is my own voice. The dubbing in the other 9 languages is generated by AI.
The written instructions on the website are written with AI assistance and translated into 10 languages. Before I publish anything, I compare it with my own sample and check every stitch: whether the stitch counts are correct, whether the steps are in the right order, and whether the photos and words show the same stitch.
Where we are
We are in China and Singapore. I hope that whether you speak Chinese, English, Spanish, or Arabic, you can find tutorials that are just as clear.
